Hi! I’m Anthony, a British expat living in Bangkok.

I'm just your average Expat.
During my 5 years in Thailand, I have been in both the worst shape of my life and (more recently) have never been healthier!

Unfortunately, it has taken 5 years to…

   1. Realise I was living  an unhealthy lifestyle

   2. Care I was living an unhealthy lifestyle

   3. Do something about it.

I guess it all started about 3 years ago when I quit smoking ‘cold turkey’. It was the hardest thing I’ve had to do and since then I have been challenging myself to try different ways to live a healthy lifestyle!

Although I still haven’t found a health regimen I am 100% comfortable with, through research and trial and error I feel much happier and comfortable in my life.

 

 

I'm happy to try anything once or twice...maybe I'll like it? If I don't, I simply try something else until I have curated a healthy

routine that works for me. This exploratory approach to healthy living has helped me persevere and now I love it!

Now that I’ve changed my mindset, this healthy lifestyle thing is getting easier and easier. I want to share this mindset with everyone and help fellow expats find a healthy lifestyle that suits them.

I don’t pretend to be an expert, I would class myself as a ‘healthy living enthusiast’  so whether you’re a healthpat newbie or a healthpat veteran (or somewhere in between like myself), then Healthpats is the place for you!

Healthpats is the new community for expats that want to try to live a healthier lifestyle. There isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ way to live a healthy expat life, so our mission is to provide you with a whole host of information ranging from nutritional advice to local reviews.
